http://hacks.mit.edu/sorry guys, i'm gonna have to go with "not that sweet". compared to other diy projects, this just seems to be simple plug various products into an x10 power manager on your computer. a lot of the features are really easy to do with x10 in case you guys aren't familiar with it. it seems that it just requires some free time, a lot of money, and the ability to flagrantly misuse it. so... congratulations i guess... on having rich parents? they should have spent that money on a really good mit hack:
